Al Benkert ’62 has recently transitioned to a Real Estate broker after retiring from a long career as an IT Executive. Residing in Vero Beach, FL, Al and his wife Barbara recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary after being married in FIJI. He is also a Trainer at Tony Robbins Seminars in his free time.

William Dempsey ’63 joined the USAF after graduation, leaving as Captain. Soon after he joined Howard Hughes Nevada Operations as Systems Analyst, leaving after nine years as General Manager Technical Services. William Earned a Master’s degree at UNLV and went on to start his own software company in 1977, retiring in 2011. Post-retirement he became a private pilot accumulating 2,000 hours. As a Kiwanis member for 44 years, he has been an active force in helping children and changing lives.

Mike Davino ’68 retired after 16 years as Superintendent of Schools, Springfield, N.J., following 30 years in New York State and New York City public schools. A member of the Terrier’s Knickerbocker Baseball Conference, 1965/1966 Champs and the Metropolitan Baseball Conference Champs, 1967/1968. An active member in Student Government during his time at St. Francis, Mike received his MA in Education from Michigan State University in 1970, before starting a 45 plus year career in coaching and public education.

Dominik Rohe ’97, Managing Director, is Head of Latin America and responsible for all of BlackRock's activities across the region. He is a member of the Global Operating Committee, the International Executive Committee, the Global Client Executive Committee and chairs the Latin America Executive Committee. Before assuming his current role, Mr. Rohe was Country Head of Australia and Chairman of the Australian Board, accountable for all business activity in Australia.

Ryan Contino ’00 was honored by the Staten Island Athletic Club on February 8th, with the Scott LaPiedra Memorial Award. This award is given annually to “a city worker who has excelled in the sport of running.”

Monica Michalski ’01 was named to the EAB Innovation Council for the 2020 year. This accomplishment recognizes her leadership of SFC in the Student Success Collaborative and the incredible external challenges and pressures higher education is facing. Monica’s work, ambition, and determination to provide a more personalized and engaging experience for SFC students, partnered with her technical savvy, is what made her stand out among 150 nominees.

Jennifer A. LaDelfa ’06, Jennifer Adriana Public Relations has now launched Adri’s Boudoir by Jennifer Adriana. A unique fashion boutique importing worldwide with a focus on the made in Italy brand. Cultivating a following in New York, they carry limited quantities for a custom one of a kind shopping experience.

Lisa Paolucci ’06 recently received her Ph.D. in English Education from Columbia University in 2020 and is now assistant professor of Education at St. Francis College.

Kristy Proscia ’08 and her husband recently welcomed a healthy baby boy, Domenic Saverio Predescu, to their family on July 4, 2020. This is the couple’s second child, they also have a two-year-old girl, Diana.

Bono Lee ’11 became engaged to Minnie Chiu ’17 in Spain in November 2019.

Savills Commercial Real Estate recently hired Danny Mangru ’12 as New Research Lead for New York Tri-State Region. In this newly created position, Mangru will be based in the firm’s New York office and will oversee research efforts including Savills quarterly office market reports and other high-level market analytics for the Tri-State region, including New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Savills currently operates over 35 offices in the U.S. and Canada. It now employs more than 800 people in North America, up from 575 in 2014. Globally, Savills has more than 39,000 employees in over 70 countries throughout Asia Pacific, Continental Europe, the Middle East, North America, and the U.K.

Elizabeth Peralta ’15 became engaged in December to fiancé Alexander Fowell. Their wedding will be June 2021. Elizabeth also serves as a member of the St. Francis College Alumni Board.

K-Andrea Evarose ’19 is currently the youngest reporter for Marianas Variety News & Views, the oldest independent publication in Micronesia, where she covers political, environmental, and community news. In less than a year in her role, K-Andrea Evarose has interviewed public officials, with the most recent interview being with US Assistant Secretary for Insular and International Affairs Douglas Domenech.
